There are some dreams that sit quietly in your heart, waiting for the perfect moment to come alive. For me, one of those dreams was taking a trip to Walt Disney World with my best friend. After years of talking, planning, and daydreaming, we finally made it happen—and it was everything I hoped for and more.

Disney shows are pure magic, and we love them all. We made sure to catch the Country Bear Musical Jamboree! 

Classics

We both love the timeless charm of Pirates of the Caribbean and Peter Pan's Flight. Not to mention Jungle Cruise, the awesome photos from Spaceship Earth, flying high above on Soarin'!  and many more adventures. Laughing and smiling side by side made each ride feel even more unforgettable.

Foodie Fun

Disney dining was its own adventure. We snacked on popcorn, Dole Whip (pineapple perfection!), Sitting down for a character meal and having Mickey himself stop by our table was a moment of pure joy. Between EPCOT’s international bites and Magic Kingdom’s iconic treats, every day was a new feast.

Moments of Relaxation

Yes, Disney is fast-paced, but we also made time to slow down. We grabbed snacks, found shady spots, and just people-watched while soaking in the magic. Walking through the parks at night, when the lights twinkle and the crowds thin, was the most peaceful kind of Disney magic.

Mickey Magic

And then, of course, there’s Mickey. Meeting him in person—hugging the mouse who started it all—brought everything full circle. That photo with Mickey wasn’t just a picture. It was proof that we’d finally lived our dream.

With 7 distinct neighborhoods, multiple pools, a water park, a sports court, an AquaTheater, and more, Harmony is built to keep every family member entertained from morning to night.

Dining for Every Mood

Food is one of the best parts of cruising, and we took full advantage of the ship’s incredible variety:

Main Dining Room – Every night felt special as we enjoyed multi-course meals with attentive service. From tender steaks to perfectly prepared seafood and vegetarian options, the menu kept us excited for what was coming next.

Wonderland – Dining here felt like stepping into a storybook. Inspired by Alice’s adventures, the creative presentation and imaginative dishes delighted both kids and adults. It was dinner and a show all rolled into one.

Windjammer Marketplace – For casual family dining, Windjammer was our go-to. With endless choices (international favorites, fresh salads, pastas, and desserts), everyone found something they loved—no small feat for a family with different tastes!

Entertainment for All Ages

The entertainment aboard Harmony was second to none:

Grease: The Musical brought Broadway energy to the sea, and we found ourselves singing along to every classic number.

Columbus: The Musical was a hilarious, original Royal Caribbean production that had us laughing nonstop.

Game Shows – From trivia contests to “Love & Marriage,” there was always something fun happening. The family-friendly ones kept us all involved, while the adults-only shows gave us some kid-free laughs later in the evening.

Perfect Destinations

The ports of call were just as exciting as the ship itself:

Perfect Day at CocoCay – Royal Caribbean’s private island in the Bahamas lived up to its name. With pristine beaches, the Thrill Waterpark, the giant wave pool, and the exclusive Coco Beach Club, it was paradise for every age.

Puerto Costa Maya, Mexico – We enjoyed the rich culture, beautiful beaches, and a taste of authentic Mexican flavors.

Cozumel, Mexico – Known for its crystal-clear waters and lively shopping, Cozumel offered the perfect balance of adventure and relaxation.

And the excitement doesn’t stop there—Royal Caribbean is building Perfect Day at Mexico and the Royal Beach Club (set to debut soon), which means even more private, customizable vacation experiences in the future.

Cruising aboard Harmony of the Seas gave our family time to bond, explore, and make memories together. Whether it was screaming down the Ultimate Abyss slide, watching fireworks on deck, or simply enjoying ice cream by the pool, every moment felt special.
